During these 11 days in Belize, I learned that to find the greatest love, the kind of love people search for their entire lives, one must learn to give of their love to others freely and foolishly. When I say foolishly, I don’t mean to act stupid and unsafe. But be a fool for God! Don’t care so much what society thinks or says or expects you to do, because in many parts of this world, there are no defined limits of “normal”. Love yourself enough to trust your own heart, because after all…there is no love without trust. By the end of our time in Belize, I felt more love than I have in a long time. Amazing, because I spent these two weeks with two of my best friends; five individuals whom I just began to know at the start but share an indescribable bond with now; and countless others whom we encountered along the way – all of whom have showed me how to love.
I guess I found what I was looking for!

You're absolutely right, the love that most people seek has to begin with loving and trusting themselves, otherwise it won't be love at all.
I wish there was a general comment section just about the blog but I couldn't find one so I'll go ahead and post it on the last blog posted. It was really fun following you ladies as you went on your adventure. I enjoyed reading the updates on the different things you saw and did. I was inspired about your activities and the people you encountered and hopefully one day I'll be able to go on a trip similar to what you did. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. Bev, you're a nurse not only professionally, but your writing style "nurses" kindness and friendliness. Belize was surely a blast, and for us the Philippines is a party whenever we fly back there; however, no place like home (Seattle). Welcome back! As the weeks ripen to months, you'll surely have reflections about your trip.
