Please Belize me when I say...

it's going to be awesome trip! Our flights have been booked (Phew!), our hotel room has been reserved (Yaye!), and we will soon be on our way.

We decided that to avoid from moving our luggage from place to place, we'd make Hotel Mopan our home base. It's located on the oldest street in downtown Belize City only a few blocks from the city and the water.

We have about a month left...so many things to do! For my service placement I will be working at Mercy Kitchen and the YWCA. They're needing supplies such as kitchen utensils, adult sized clothes, and any other items you think would be useful to them. If you or someone you know can help by donating, please let me know!

Hey Di, I have some kitchen utensils to donate. When are you guys leaving? do you have a luggage that fits a 5'4 girl like me?

Thank you Anonymous! We're leaving on Thursday, Feb. 25. Call me!...so I know who you are. =) I'm unfortuately left to guessing since probably half (or more) of all my girlfriends are about your height.

hahaha....that's the same hotel Adam, Edgar, and I stayed while we were in Belize City. We stayed at the room in the picture right by the balcony. CRAZY!!
